Para ello se realiza una revisión bibliográfica abordando conceptos fundamentales relacionados con la discapacidad cognitiva y el envejecimiento. Se realiza un análisis de los factores que ejercen una influencia directa en materia de discapacidad, y se pone en manifiesto el papel del Trabajador Social y de los recursos existentes para la mejora del bienestar de estas personas, además, su intervención tanto a nivel nacional, como más concretamente en Andalucía. For this purpose, a bibliographical review is carried out, addressing fundamental concepts related to cognitive disability and ageing. An analysis is made of the factors that have a direct influence on disability, and the role of the Social Worker and the existing resources for the improvement of the welfare of these people is highlighted, as well as their intervention both nationally and more specifically in Andalusia.
