Para dicho fin, se analiza en primer lugar, sin entrar en tecnicismos, el funcionamiento de dichas técnicas, para pasar posteriormente a una aproximación a su historiografía y a sus primeras aplicaciones en el campo arqueológico. Asimismo, se hace también incisión en las diferentes metodologías de trabajo que podemos encontrar asociadas a los georradares, a través de distintos casos prácticos en los que esta técnica ha sido utilizada en arqueología, analizando los variados resultados que permite obtener, así como sus ventajas e inconvenientes.The purpose of the following work is to carry out a bibliographic review regarding the operation, characteristics, methodologies, applications and possibilities of the use of georradars in archaeology. To this end, the operation of these radars is analyzed first, without going into technicalities, to later move on to an approach to the history of these instruments and their first applications in the archaeological field.
