Estas obras van a ser el prototipo de numerosas construcciones y piezas artísticas las cuales van a continuar con el legado fúnebre que deja Egipto al mundo. La finalidad de este trabajo es poder analizar de forma detallada las influencias de todo lo vinculado al mundo fúnebre nilótico y cómo ha sido capaz de repercutir en la historia del arte de Occidente a lo largo del tiempo. Para ello, se ha realizado una comparación de técnicas, estilos, iconografía, tipologías de forma exhaustiva tanto en la Antigüedad, como en la Edad Media, en la Edad Moderna y en la Edad Contemporánea.Ancient Egypt has stimulated great interest in all times, especially the funerary area in which the pyramids or sarcophagus, such as that of Tutankhamun.
