Para ello se lucha por la accesibilidad ya que permite la movilidad sin ninguna barrera, ésta es una característica del entorno ya construido. En la actualidad, se apuesta por el concepto de accesibilidad universal ya que defiende un conjunto de características que deben cumplir los entornos, bienes, productos y servicios, que permite el acceso de a todas las personas, tengan o no discapacidad. Para ello, hay que indagar en la normativa sobre discapacidad y accesibilidad vigente en la actualidadPeople with disabilities who live in rural areas face a discriminatory way to survive with physical barriers that hinder their day to day.
