Durante muchas generaciones tanto hojas como fruto y aceite de olivo fueron utilizados para la elaboración de remedios caseros para la salud y cosmética; con el paso de los años y la industrialización de las recetas tradicionales se perdieron paulatinamente. Durante esta investigación se buscó recuperar algunas recetas tradicionales y recopilarlas en un recetario accesible para todo público, para así favorecer su difusión.[EN]Olive oil was first produced in the Mediterranean, it is considered that the olive tree has been present on earth before the human being. Some Middle Eastern civilizations considered the olive tree as a sacred crop. For many generations use, leaves, fruit and olive oil to prepare home remedies for health and cosmetics.
