El contexto de la investigación corresponde a conocer el carnaval gaditano considerándolo una manifestación cultural más allá de la fiesta popular con un carácter y gran poder: social, comunicativo, artístico y educativo. Para dar cuenta de esta experiencia propia, se utiliza esta investigación para el diseño y realización de un taller creativo como propuesta formativa y terapéutica que está dirigido a cualquier colectivo, mostrando así los distintos ámbitos que componen a esta fiesta.[EN] This work deals with a self-narrative research where the experience, in first person, regarding thyroid cancer and its recovery with the carnival of Cadiz as a means of support and therapy for its improvement is exposed. The context of the research corresponds to getting to know the Cadiz carnival, considering it a cultural manifestation beyond the popular festival with a character and great power: social, communicative, artistic and educational.
