Así, en una primera parte del trabajo, se incluye un marco teórico de referencia en el que se definen conceptos tales como pobreza, exclusión social, intervención comunitaria y participación ciudadana. A continuación, se analiza los resultados del indicador AROPE, y también la intervención llevada a cabo por la Estrategia Regional Andaluza para la Cohesión e Inclusión Social (ERACIS, en adelante), para mostrar, por un lado, la evolución del impacto de la pobreza en España, y, por otro lado, la actuación sobre las zonas donde se registran situaciones de exclusión y/o pobreza. En una segunda parte del trabajo, se presenta el estudio de caso del Polígono Sur de SevillaIn this Final Degree Project, two interrelated issues are addressed, such as poverty and social exclusion, with the aim of understanding in depth the reality in which millions of people find themselves, especially affected by these problems. Thus, in the first part of the work, a theoretical framework of reference is included in which concepts such as poverty, social exclusion, community intervention and citizen participation are defined. Next, the results of the AROPE indicator are analyzed, and also the intervention carried out by the Andalusian Regional Strategy for Cohesion and Social Inclusion (ERACIS, hereinafter), to show, on the one hand, the evolution of the impact of poverty in Spain, and, on the other hand, action in areas where situations of exclusion and/or poverty are recorded.
