Para ello, es importante saber los tipos de juegos de palabras que existen en estos textos audiovisuales y cómo pueden mantenerse, ser transformados o perderse al traducirse en el texto meta. En este caso, se han recopilado diferentes ejemplos de humor encontrados en las primeras temporadas de la serie americana Modern Family, y tras analizar el corpus con estos ejemplos, se ha llegado a la conclusión de que el método más utilizado a la hora de traducir juegos de palabras es cambiar este por otro juego de palabras, ya sea porque no haya un juego correspondiente en la lengua meta, o para hacer la traducción más natural para el público español.(EN) The purpose of this project is to analyze the different ways of translating humor from one language to another in a TV series. In order to do so, it is important to know what kind of wordplays exist in audiovisual texts and how these can be kept, transformed, or lost when translating to the TL. In this case, different examples of humorous scenes have been compiled from the first seasons of the American series Modern Family, and after analyzing the corpus with these examples, it has been proven that the most used translating method in this series has been the change of pun.
