El Humanismo cambiará la concepción de todo lo que rodea al hombre. La Iglesia Católica, que hasta entonces había ostentado todo el poder, cedió parte del mismo a la realeza y a la nobleza, que se convirtieron en los principales mecenas de las artes. La música y los músicos de este periodo también se transformaron y alcanzaron una libertad sin precedentes, siendo utilizados por los mecenas para autoafirmar su estatus y prestigio. En este trabajo se estudiará el papel de las capillas de ministriles y su función como eslabón entre la iglesia y la ciudad, lo religioso y profano. Se contextualizará el caso español y nos centraremos en Andújar como ejemplo de ciudad con una capilla de música en la que tuvieron un gran protagonismo los ministriles, músicos poco reconocidos, pero indispensables en la solemnización de los actos festivos más relevantes de la época.[EN]Early Modern Age will mark a turning point in the history of Europe and Spain. Humanism will change the conception of everything that surrounds the man. Catholic Church, which had held all the power until then, gave part of this power to the royalty and the nobility, that will turn into the most important patron of the arts. Music and musicians of the period were also transformed and reached a freedom never seen before, being used by patrons to self-affirm their status and prestige. This investigation presents the role of minstrels chapels and its function as linkers between church and town, what is religious and what is profane.
