En este trabajo se pondrán de manifiesto los instrumentos internacionales que han sido creados a lo largo del tiempo para intentar que estas situaciones no ocurran, insistiendo en el análisis de su aplicación e interpretación por parte de los tribunales tanto internos como internacionales. The phenomenon of international child abduction, also known as “legal kidnapping”, is a globalised phenomenon, as children who suffer from it are transferred from one State to another.
