Así, se estudiará los períodos históricos más relevantes, analizándose la influencia de las diferentes culturas atendiendo a la propia evolución de la doctrina budista. Finalmente se atenderá a la expansión de la cultura y el arte budista hacia la zona del Sudeste Asiático, en donde se aprecia la mezcla del budismo con otras tradiciones religiosas y culturales.In this academic paper I want to carry out a study based on Buddha’s iconography by analysing the different schools and artistic styles that have emerged in India. Thus, the most relevant historical periods will be studied, taking into account the influence of different cultures according to the evolution of the Buddhist doctrine itself.
