Por ello, y debido a que nos encontramos en un momento histórico en el cual el patrimonio está siendo democratizado gracias a la difusión, es necesario que, tanto el edificio histórico como los fondos de la institución sean difundidos, adaptándose de forma satisfactoria al público con el objetivo de lograr el conocimiento y disfrute del mismo.[EN]At present, the Antiguo Hospital de San Juan de Dios is the headquarters of the Instituto de Estudios Giennenses. It is a documentation and research center on issues in the province of Jaén, which safeguards a large patrimonial fund not accessible to the public and it is also housed in a building with artistic historical interest.
