In this End-of-Grade Work addresses the issue of the novel method of calculating Open Based on Numbers, also known as ABN. This method has achieved great development in a short time and many educators have been attracted to it. The reason for this success, as defended by its creators, is due to its great effectiveness and the best results of the students that work with it. Throughout this work will be exposed how and why it arose, who is addressed and the differences that must be taken into account when taking it to a classroom of Pre-School Education. The main objective is to study and know the method, seeing its benefits and inconvenience, compared to other approaches such as that derived from Brousseau's Theory of Didactic Situations.
