Physical inactivity and sedentary lifestyle are some of the concerns that exist in the field of health because they can trigger health problems. Therefore, the objective of this work is the evaluation of physical activity in school childrenusing accelerometry. The methodology used in the use of accelerometry determines the results obtained and conditions the possibility of comparing different studies. The project aims to increase physical activity and the number of steps made by schoolchildren in the school day. This project is developed during the third term in the second year of the second cycle of Childhood Education, for three weeks. The project is evaluated through several instruments of information collection: initial evaluation, continuous observation and the final evaluation in which the degree of overall achievement of the proposed objectives is reflected.
