Currently, the Spanish civil war is still an issue which produces a controversy in our society. Even, we listen to talk to elderly people telling to young people how they lived in that era and how nowadays they are remembering it. For that reason, this TFG is aimed at the young people, the students of the last course (6º) of Primary Education, in order to know what happen in that period which they have listened to talk about it to their grandparents or any member of their family, or in any political discussion. In order to it, we will focus on the social-historical context of the moment, what repercussions had in the Spanish people life, what was the woman’s role, that is, in the gender perspective of the period or how the war was faced in some places such as, Villa del Río (Córdoba) or Lopera (Jaén).
