University students are a high-risk population to develop emotional problems, which if inadequately treated might harm their personal development. This is why numerous studies have focused on studying the factors responsible of the development of emotional problems and personality disorders in this population. This study tried to study, in a population of Andalusian university students, the association between some mediating variables, like being a victim of bullying, a bullying aggressor, being single or in a relationship and high levels of psychoticism and neuroticism, with higher levels of emotional problems (defined as high levels of depression and anxiety) and personality disorders. The results of this study did not show a statistically significant relation between the studied variables, with the exception of neuroticism, where high levels predicted more emotional problems and personality disorders.
