[ES] El trastorno de ansiedad social (SAD) es la forma más común de trastorno de ansiedad caracterizado por un fuerte temor a la interacción social debido al potencial de vergüenza y humillación. Diversos estudios han mostrado la relación existente entre fobia social e Inteligencia Emocional (IE) y se han observado mejoras en el equilibrio emocional de adolescentes con este trastorno. El objetivo del presente estudio es crear un programa de intervención en IE dirigido a 46 adolescentes con edades comprendidas entre 14 y 16 años utilizando un diseño cuasi-experimental basado en el Modelo de Mayer y Salovey (1997). Tiene como finalidad desarrollar y entrenar las habilidades de percepción, facilitación, comprensión y regulación emocional, con el objetivo de reducir la ansiedad social y mejorar el bienestar psicológico y el desarrollo de relaciones sociales positivas.

Several studies have shown the relationship between social phobia and Emotional Intelligence (EI) and improvements have been observed in the emotional balance of adolescents with this disorder. The objective of this study is to create an intervention program in EI directed at 46 adolescents between the ages of 14 and 16 using a quasi-experimental design based on the Mayer and Salovey (1997) model. Its purpose is to develop and train the skills of perception, facilitation, understanding and emotional regulation, with the aim of reducing social anxiety and improving psychological well-being and the development of positive social relationships.
