This Final Degree Project aims to help to interpret the difficulties that students with Down's Syndrome may experience and present during the teaching/learning of a foreign language, specifically English, and how to approach it through a Didactic Unit for 1st year primary school. Beforehand, a review is made of some of the most significant authors on the concept of Down's Syndrome, general characteristics of the syndrome, learning difficulties presented by this group and the barriers associated with the teaching of a second language.
