La fuga de cerebros es un fenómeno conocido y de gran impacto social que se encuentra en muchas ocasiones poco estudiado. Aunque siempre se ha dado este enfoque migratorio a lo largo de la historia, en el año 2008 hacia adelante, a través de la terrible crisis que azotó España, hubo un aumento significativo de la cifra de personas migrantes cualificadas. Este fenómeno se ve promovido por diversos factores tanto personales, sociales, económicos, de género, entre otros. Para acercarnos a él, de una forma más objetiva y entender bien algunos de sus factores, se lleva a cabo una investigación exploratoria a través de diferentes técnicas reconocidas en el ámbito de Trabajo social, que pretenden obtener datos relevantes de un grupo pequeño de personas, que se ven afectadas por la toma de decisión de salir de su lugar de origen
Brain drain is a well-known phenomenon with a great social impact that is often little studied. Although this migratory approach has always been given throughout history, in 2008 onwards, through the terrible crisis that hit Spain, there was a significant increase in the number of qualified migrants. This phenomenon is promoted by various personal, social, economic and gender factors, among others. To approach it, in a more objective way and to better understand some of its factors, an exploratory investigation is carried out through different recognized techniques in the field of Social Work, which aim to obtain relevant data from a small group of people, who are affected by the decision to leave their place of origin
