INTERVENCIONES ASISTIDAS CON CABALLOS EN ESPAÑA. UN ESTUDIO DESCRIPTIVO.

Abstract

[ES] Las Intervenciones Asistidas con Animales (IAA) están experimentando un crecimiento exponencial en España, siendo cada vez más los estudios que pretenden evidenciar cómo la interacción humano- animal conlleva una serie de efectos a nivel físico, psicológico, educativo y/o social. En este trabajo se describe la situación de aquellas intervenciones que introducen a caballos: las denominadas Intervenciones Asistidas con Caballos (IAC), atendiendo a cómo son los equipos humanos, los programas de intervención y, especialmente, los equipos equinos de las diferentes entidades que se dedican a las IAC en España.

[EN] Animal-Assisted Therapies (AAT) are suffering a considerable growth in Spain, with a increasingly studies seeking to show how human-animal interaction has a series of physical, psychological, educational and social effects. This report describes the situation of those therapies that introduce horses: the so-called Equine Assisted Therapies (EAT), taking into account the human teams, the therapy programs and, in particular, the equine equipment of the different entities involved in the EAT in Spain.
