La ética en Trabajo Social es fundamental, ya que actúa como una guía de normas de comportamiento
deseables para actuar de forma correcta. Dichas normas coinciden con los principios éticos, que son las
reglas fundamentales que dirigen las acciones y decisiones de las personas, y que se formalizan en diferentes manuales de conducta. El Trabajo Social se regula con el código deontológico, en el cual se
incluyen los principios éticos que los/as profesionales de Trabajo Social deben cumplir en la práctica profesional. El objetivo de este trabajo es comparar varios códigos éticos de Trabajo Social de diferentes países, porque se considera importante analizar las similitudes y diferencias que existen entre ellos. Se
ha podido observar que hay determinados principios que se encuentran presentes en casi todos los
códigos. Por el contrario, existen algunas cuestiones que no se han observado en todos, como la creación
de Comisiones Deontológicas o la presencia de principios fundamentales, como la promoción de la
justicia social o la autodeterminación de las personas usuarias

These standards align with ethical principles, which are the fundamental rules directing the actions and decisions of individuals and are formalized in various codes of conduct. Social Work is regulated by the Code of Ethics, which includes the ethical principles that social work professionals must adhere to in their professional practice. The objective of this Dissertation is to compare various Social Work's Ethical Codes from different countries, as it is deemed important to analyze the similarities and differences among them. It has been observed that certain principles are present in almost of the codes. Conversely, there are certain aspects that haven't been universally addressed, such as the establishment of Deontological Committees or the incorporation of fundamental principles like the promotion of social justice or the self-determination of service users
