From the earliest stages of life, socialization is marked by gender stereotypes that influence the development of people's identity and personality and perpetuate the reproduction of discriminatory behaviors. This document, therefore, establishes the need to deconstruct these conventions, which children incorporate into their daily lives, to make them the basis of an egalitarian society based on freedom and respect. To this end, this document proposes the implementation of a recreational reading club whose fundamental driving force is co-education, thus promoting critical thinking among students; furthermore, the analysis and recognition of sexist situations through the reading of traditional and modern tales is addressed. Thus, the main contribution of this work proposes a reflection on the importance of self-education and social responsibility that the transformation in the field of equal rights and opportunities between women and men implies.
