Hacia el reconocimiento de la causa del refugiado climático

Abstract

Entre otras, existe una problemática que aqueja a todos, el Cambio Climático, considerado este uno de los mayores problemas a los que se enfrentan las sociedades actuales. Es tal la relevancia que ha tomado el problema que ha pasado a formar parte de la agenda política internacional. Por medio de una revisión bibliográfica, conoceremos que es el Cambio Climático, que impacto social genera, haciendo especial hincapié en una de sus múltiples consecuencias, el éxodo de la población por causas climáticas, a lo que llamaremos Refugiados Climáticos; identificaremos las principales características y los tipos de migraciones climáticas que pueden darse, así como las desigualdades sociales ya existentes acrecentadas y otras nuevas generadas. Del mismo modo, hablaremos sobre la importancia del papel que juega un fuerte Sistema de Bienestar capaz de hacer frente a tal problemática y como la percepción cultural interiorizada en relación al desastre repercute directamente en las acciones de prevención y mitigación. Seguiremos identificando las políticas españolas que legislan los movimientos migratorios y, por último, desde la perspectiva del Trabajo Social se abordará los tipos de necesidades que pueden presentar los refugiados una vez entrados en territorio españolAmong others, there is a problem that affects everyone, Climate Change, which is considered one of the biggest problems facing today's societies. By means of a bibliographic review, we will learn what Climate Change is, what social impact it generates, with special emphasis on one of its multiple consequences, the exodus of the population due to climatic causes, which we will call Climate Refugees; we will identify the main characteristics and the types of climatic migrations that can occur as well as the existing social inequalities that have increased and other new ones that have been generated. Likewise, we will discuss the importance of the role of a strong Welfare System capable of dealing with such problems and how the internalized cultural perception of disaster has a direct impact on prevention and mitigation actions. We will continue to identify the Spanish policies that legislate migratory movements and finally, from the 3 perspectives of Social Work, we will address the types of needs that refugees may present once they have entered Spanish territory
