Resumen
(ES)En este trabajo se propone un programa de musicoterapia como intervención terapéutica en personas con
demencia de Alzheimer que acuden a un centro de día. En este tipo de demencia se afectan diversas áreas
cerebrales y se caracteriza por síntomas como pérdida de memoria, alteraciones del lenguaje y cambios
conductuales y emocionales. La musicoterapia se presenta como una estrategia para mejorar la calidad de vida
de estos pacientes sin efectos secundarios no deseados. El programa consta de 10 sesiones, creando un
entorno seguro donde los participantes se expresan a través de la música. Se utilizan instrumentos, canciones
y actividades para fomentar la interacción, expresión creativa y ejercicio físico. A través de estas sesiones se
busca vincular la música con emociones y acciones cotidianas, fortaleciendo la memoria y promoviendo la
autonomía personal. Con este programa se esperan mejoras en el estado de ánimo, la cognición, la
comunicación y la calidad de vida de las personas participantes.
(EN)This work proposes a music therapy program as a therapeutic intervention for individuals with Alzheimer's dementia attending a day care center. This type of dementia affects various brain areas and is characterized by symptoms such as memory loss, language impairments, and behavioral and emotional changes. Music therapy is presented as a strategy to improve the quality of life for these patients without unwanted side effects. The program consists of 10 sessions, creating a safe environment where participants express themselves through music. Instruments, songs, and activities are used to promote interaction, creative expression, and physical exercise. Through these sessions, the aim is to establish connections between music, emotions, and daily actions, strengthening memory and promoting personal autonomy. This program is expected to bring improvements in mood, cognition, communication, and overall quality of life for the participants.
