A total of 108 schoolchildren completed a questionnaire on the frequency of physical activity and sedentary behavior index throughout a week. The main results showed that schoolchildren perform a general mean of 2.90 days of physical activity / week, being higher in boys (2.95 days / week) than in girls (2.84 days / week). Exposed the above, the high index of sedentary behavior among students is confirmed, being a public health problem, having the educational community a transcendental role to reverse this situation.
