The present work consisted in studying the relationships between the components of Group Emotional lntelligence (GEi), affective organizational commitment and the dimensions of Transformational Leadership (TL). To conduct this study, 230 subjects participated in this study by answering a GEi test (WEIP-S), an affective organizational commitment test (CATO) and a Transformational Leadership test (MLQ). Correlation analysis showed positive relationships between ali GEi components and affective organizational commitment. The analysis of correlations between GEi components and TL components showed positive relationships between them. Stepwise hierarchical regression analysis showed that the GEi component called awareness of one's own emotions, predicted a percentage of variance of affective organizational commitment. Regarding TL components, these were predicted by managing the emotions of others. The implications of these findings are presented in the following report.
