[EN] Eating Disorders cause great physical and social deterioration in the person who suffers from them. There are several subtypes, but we will focus on Anorexia Nervosa. The prevalence of Anorexia Nervosa is higher in women than in men and, in addition, adolescence is the stage of risk in which it develops. For this reason, an Anorexia Nervosa Prevention Programme has been set up in Madrid with female pre-adolescents aged 12 and 13, since it is one of the Spanish Autonomous Communities with the highest incidence of Eating Disorders. The programme lasts for three months and will be carried out in 10 sessions where we will work with the participants in order to make them aware of the characteristics of Eating Disorders, increase their self-esteem and body satisfaction and increase their motivation to lead a healthy lifestyle.
