Water is one of the most important elements present on our planet. It is one of the main vectors for the transmission of pathogens and diseases. To avoid these problems, a purification process must be carried out in drinking water treatment plants (ETAP), where the harmfulness will be reduced as much as possible. The legislation to be taken into account is RD 140/2003, of 7 February, which establishes the sanitary criteria for the quality of water for human consumption. In our work we have carried out a study of how different coagulants and flocculants act to the properties of the water samples collected. To do this we will use untreated water, that is, collected directly from the El Dañador reservoir and later we will take other samples of water already treated from the tap at home.
