Resumen
En esta investigación se evaluará mediante una técnica lineal de
programación no paramétrica, conocida como el análisis
envolvente de datos, la eficiencia de los clubes de fútbol de la
Premier League, la liga de fútbol de Inglaterra de la temporada
2019/2020. Para ello se utilizarán dos modelos bajo la
metodología DEA (CCR y BCC). Ambos permitirán conocer la
eficiencia técnica pura y eficiencia técnica global de cada club
mediante una puntuación o índice de eficiencia. Con la obtención
de estos resultados se podrá determinar cuáles son los equipos que
optimizan sus recursos deportivos disponibles con el fin de
obtener los mejores resultados posibles.
In this research, the efficiency of football clubs in the Premier League, England's football league for the 2019/2020 season, will be evaluated using a linear non-parametric programming technique, known as data enveloping analysis. For this, two models will be used under the DEA methodology (CCR and BCC). Both allow to know the pure technical efficiency and overall technical efficiency of each club through a score or efficiency index. By obtaining these results, it will be possible to determine the teams that optimize their available sports resources in order to obtain the best possible results.
