LA DESIGUALDAD DE GÉNERO EN EL SECTOR OLIVARERO

Abstract

La historia y evolución de la humanidad es la historia de la discriminación de las mujeres. Se ha asumido el papel que le corresponde en el terreno laboral como resultado de la naturaleza humana. Consecuencia de ello es que han tenido que enfrentarse a multitud de situaciones para aproximarse a la igualdad. Si bien socialmente se ha tomado conciencia de esta situación, la discriminación sigue presente en los distintos ámbitos de lo privado y en lo laboral, como una realidad destacada de lo público. A lo largo de este trabajo, se desarrolla un análisis cuyo objetivo es analizar la situación laboral de las mujeres perteneciente al sector del olivar, residentes en la provincia de Jaén, para valorar el grado de discriminación, dificultad y tolerancia que presentan en este sector del ámbito laboral, tradicionalmente masculinizado que invisibiliza la implicación de las mujeres rurales.
