[EN] Introduction: Shoulder Impingement Syndrome painful is a musculoskeletal disorder of great relevance due to its high incidence and functional limitation. It is also characterized by pain and by the tendency to become chronic. The clinical case we present in our study is a supraspinatus Impingement syndrome in a middle-aged female patient. Objectives: To make a proper assessment to the pathology presented and a treatment according to our objectives, thus examining the effectiveness of various treatments of physiotherapy in this syndrome and the symptoms associated to it. Methodology: For the evaluation both analytical and functional scales have been used, plus a detailed data collection from the patient. Manual therapy, massage therapy, myofascial techniques and electrotherapy, like laser and hyperthermia, have been included in the treatment. Development: All the sessions were conducted in a physiotherapy clinic, which had all the resources used, both in the evaluation and treatment. Conclusions: The treatment, which was carried out in 20 sessions over 3 months, has been effective and adequate, as there has been a marked improvement in the patient. However, more clinical trials needs to be done in this area.
