[EN]The objectives of this study were: a) To determine compliance with the recommendations for healthy physical activity (PA) in relation to gender and b) to analyze the level of PA and steps in different periods throughout a week. A total of 63 2-year-old students participated in this study, wearing a Garmin vivofit® jr activity bracelet for seven days, where the minutes of moderate and vigorous physical activity (MVPA) were evaluated, as well as the volume of steps. Different times of the week were analyzed (all week, Monday to Friday, weekend, school hours and after-school hours). The results show a 50% compliance of the 120 min/day of MVPA and 13000 steps per day. No gender differences were detected. In the fractional analysis, the data indicates a trend towards higher PA and steps at the weekend and highly significant values of PA and steps during school hours versus after school hours. This study may contribute to generating strategies for promoting PA at early ages.
