Resumen
Este Trabajo de Fin de Grado trata de resumir el análisis de uno de los personajes más destacados de la obra de William Shakespeare: Ofelia. Se profundiza en su carácter, su comportamiento y relaciones con otros personajes, además de reflexionar sobre su estado de locura, las razones que llevaron a tal situación y sus consecuencias. Todo ello anclado en un contexto específico, al resumir las condiciones sociales, personales e históricas del autor. Además, para localizar la obra en un contexto más actual, se resumen dos de las más famosas adaptaciones que el cine ha presenciado de Hamlet.
This paper tries to summarize the overall analysis of one of the most renowned characters in William Shakespeare’s work: Ophelia. It digs deeply in her character, behaviour and relationships that she maintained with other characters in the play, as well as wondering about her state of madness, the reasons that led to that situation and the later consequences. All this facts are framed in a specific context, since it resumes the author’s social, personal and historical conditions. Besides, to locate the play in a more present context, two of the most acclaimed Hamlet’s film adaptations are included.
