[ES]El objetivo prlncípal de est€ estudio es llevat a cabo un proyecto de evaluación sobre cómo afecta la
motivación a la actuación del alumno en el desarrollo de habilidades comunicativas. Este estudio sigue los
pasos de un "action research'', puesto que la clase será el recurso principal para obtener información. Con
este propósito, vamos a utilizar dos instrumentos para recoger los datos: un cuestionario y la observación 1
directa de la clase. De esta forma, queremos examinar las percepciones de los alumnos a través de una
variedad de actividades. Los resultados obtenidos muestran cómo una serie de factores y tareas pueden
influir en el desarrollo de las habilidades comunicativas del alumno.
[EN]The main objective of this research is to carry out an evaluation project on motivation in the performance of speakíng skills in a secondary school in Extremadura. Thls research study follows the steps of an action 1 research, since it is a practica! f1rst-hand approach in which the classroom is the primary SO\J'rce of information to obtain the data. On this purpose, the two ínstruments we will employ to collect the dat¡¡i will be a questionnaíre and direct observation of the class in order to examine the learners'perceptions on a variety o,f tasks. Results have shown that different factors and tasks have a remarkable influence on the studerits' development of their speaking skills.
