Resumen
[ES] El objetivo de este Trabajo de Fin de Máster es estudiar la manera en la que los libros de texto utilizados en el cuarto curso de educación secundaria obligatoria tratan la forma y los usos de los sintagmas nominales complejos. Este trabajo se divide en tres partes principales: un marco teórico, una parte experimental y una unidad didáctica. La revisión bibliográfica ofrece una visión general del papel de los libros de texto en la enseñanza de lenguas extranjeras y la importancia de una evaluación previa
del material. La parte práctica incluye un análisis de dos libros de texto utilizados en dos institutos
diferentes para estudiar las actividades y las explicaciones teóricas dedicadas a los sintagmas nominales y su estructura compleja. La unidad didáctica está relacionada con la cultura y las tradiciones y su objetivo principal es practicar los sintagmas nominales, especialmente en situaciones comunicativas.
[EN] The objective of this Master’s Dissertation is to study the way in which textbooks used in the fourth year of compulsory secondary education deal with the form and the uses of complex noun phrases. This paper is divided into three main parts: a theoretical framework, an experimental part and a didactic unit. The bibliographical review offers a general vision of the role of the textbooks in foreign language teaching and the importance of a previous evaluation of the material. The practical part includes an analysis of two textbooks used in two different high schools in order to study the activities and the theorical explanations devoted to noun phrases and their complex structure. The didactic unit is connected with culture and traditions and its main goal is to practice noun phrases in communicative situations.
