Resumen
El trastorno Bipolar es una enfermedad mental, recurrente e incapacitante, caracterizada por la fluctuación del estado de ánimo, en el cual se pasa de episodios depresivos mayores a episodios maniacos o hipomaniacos, por lo que es un trastorno mental en el cual la persona pasa fases extremas en el estado de ánimo.
A continuación, se presenta un caso clínico de trastorno de Bipolaridad, así como sus reacciones y conductas en cada uno de los episodios, la sintomatología que presenta el paciente y sus pensamientos intrusivos y recurrentes.
Para poder decidir el tratamiento más adecuado se procedió a realizar una entrevista semiestructurada y la evaluación de este a través de diferentes pruebas.
Las técnicas usadas fueron: taller con un programa de lectura para la mejora de las habilidades sociales, la relajación progresiva de Jacobson y respiración profunda para controlar la impulsividad y una última lectura para la mejora de la comunicación.
