EFECTOS DE LA INTERVENCION ASISTIDA CON CABALLOS EN MENORES CON EXPERIENCIAS TRAUMATICAS EN ACOGIMIENTO RESIDENCIAL: UNA REVISION SISTEMATICA

Abstract

[ES] El objetivo de ésta revisión sistemática fue conocer los efectos de incluir un caballo en intervenciones con menores con traumas psicológicos que se encuentran en situación de acogimiento residencial. Basándose en el protocolo PRISMA, se llevó a cabo un búsqueda bibliográfica sistemática y se encontraron 1.787 citas. Tras eliminar los duplicados y aplicar los criterios de inclusión y exclusión, quedaron 5 estudios que se incluyeron en la revisión. Se aplicó el concepto de Traumapädagogik para discutir los resultados respecto a la conveniencia de intervenciones asistidas con caballos (IAC) en el colectivo mencionado. Los resultados de los estudios incluidos muestran efectos positivos de la IAC en la promoción de relaciones positivas con las figuras de apego, la participación social y la gestión emocional. Destacó una ventaja particular de la IAC en la motivación para interactuar con los caballos y así aumentar la participación en intervenciones.

[EN] The aim of this systematic review was to assess the effects of including a horse in interventions with traumatized children in residential care. Based on the PRISMA statement, a systematic literature search was realized and 1.787 citations wre found. After deleting duplicates and applying the inclusion and exlusion criteria, 5 studies were included in the review. The concept of Traumapädagogik was applied to discuss the results regarding the appropriateness of including a horse in the nterventions with the mentioned group. Traumpädagogik is a german term for the concept of educational methods which aims to empower traumatised children and young people. The results of the included studies show positive effects of EAI in the promotion of positive relationships with attachment figures, socila participation and coping with emotions. A particular advantege of Equine Assisted Interventios (EAI) was highlighed in the motivation to interact with horse sand thus increase participation in interventios.
