VOLUNTARIADO, MERCADO LABORAL Y ESPACIO PROFESIONAL DEL TRABAJO SOCIAL

Abstract

Analizando los efectos que la práctica del Voluntariado puede producir tanto en el funcionamiento del mercado laboral como en el desempeño de las profesiones sociales poniendo al Trabajo Social como ejemplo, este estudio pretende comprobar el uso que se hace de la figura del Voluntariado actualmente con el fin de determinar cómo esta debería emplearse en el tiempo presente, de forma que continúe beneficiando tanto a personas receptoras de la misma como a las voluntarias y profesionales del Trabajo Social sin que las malas prácticas contribuyan a la competencia desleal y a la precarización de las profesiones sociales.This essay aims to verify the use made of Volunteering nowadays in order to determine how it should be used in such a way that it continues to benefit both their recipients and the volunteers and social workers. So, it focuses under the point of view of avoid that bad volunteering practices contributing to unfair competition and social professions’ precariousness. Thus, the effects that volunteering can produce both the labor market´s functioning and performance of social professions by putting Social Work as an example are analyzed.
