En este documento se llevará a cabo un recorrido sobre la inteligencia emocional y la importancia de trabajarlas en edades tempranas. Durante mucho tiempo en las escuelas no se ha trabajado la educación emocional ya que solo se fijaban en el desarrollo cognitivo. Pero con el paso del tiempo y tras muchos estudios se ha demostrado que es una herramienta clave para conseguir un desarrollo integral del alumnado. En la actualidad la labor de los maestros y las maestras no es solo transmitir conocimientos académicos como años atrás sino guiar a los alumnos/as en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje de una manera enriquecedora. Una vez demostrada la importancia de la inteligencia emocional se presenta una propuesta de programa de intervención dirigida a niños y niñas de 4 años.
This document will take a tour of emotional intelligence and the importance of working on it at an early age. For a long time in schools has not worked on emotional education as they only looked at cognitive development. But with the passage of time and after many studies it has been shown that it is a key tool to achieve an integral development of the students. Nowadays, the task of teachers is not only to transmit academic knowledge as years ago but to guide students in the teaching- learning process in an enriching way. Once the importance of emotional intelligence has been demonstrated, a proposal for an intervention program aimed at 4-year-olds is presented.
