In this memoir it is presented a survey about diversity of nematofauna that inhabits in dune systems of north iberian mediterranean coast, being this animal group one of the richest and most abundant in species, with the aim to provide relevant information about nematode community associated to the study area. This area corresponds to three beaches located in Barcelona, Tarragona and Castellon. After the taxonomic analysis 44 species have been found and they belong to 35 genders, 21 families and 7 orders, the order Rhabditida has been the most abundant. Descriptions and SEM photographs are included. In addition, the majority of species are terrestrial and bacterial feeders. In conclusion, dunes have great diversity of nematodes adapted to this ecosystem.
