EL SENTIDO DEL HUMOR COMO HERRAMIENTA PARA DISMINUIR EL BURNOUT Y AUMENTAR EL BIENESTAR PSICOLÓGICO Y LA SATISFACCIÓN CON LA VIDA EN EL PERSONAL SANITARIO

Resumen
[ES] El síndrome de burnout es un problema de especial importancia en los profesionales de la salud, debido a las altas y continuas exigencias a las que están expuestos y a la falta de recursos para responder a ellas con calidad. Esto se manifiesta a través de síntomas físicos y psicológicos que se extienden tanto en el ámbito laboral como personal. En este contexto, surge el presente programa de intervención centrado en la fortaleza del sentido del humor, con el objetivo de disminuir el burnout en los profesionales sanitarios que trabajan con pacientes afectados de COVID-19 y aumentar su bienestar psicológico y su satisfacción con la vida. Para llevarlo a cabo, se plantea un diseño de tipo cuasi-experimental, con medidas de evaluación pre y post intervención y de seguimiento a los tres, seis meses y un año. Para obtener la información necesaria se administrarán diferentes escalas. De esta forma, se espera que los profesionales sanitarios logren aumentar su sentido del humor, su satisfacción con la
vida, su bienestar psicológico y en consecuencia, disminuirán su nivel de burnout.
[EN] Burnout syndrome is a major problem in health professionals, due to the high and continuous demands to which they are exposed and the lack of available resources to respond to them quality. This manifests itself through psychological and physical symptoms that extend both professionally and individually. In this context, the intervention program focused on the sense of humor arises, with the aim of reducing burnout in health professionals who work with patients affected by COVID-19 and increasing psychological well-being and their satisfaction with life. To carry it out, a quasi-experimental design is proposed, with pre and post intervention evaluation measures and follow-up at three and six months and one year. To obtain the necessary information, different scales will be administrated. This way, it is expected that health professionals will be able to increase their sense of humor, their satisfaction with life, their psychological well-being and consequently, the will reduce their level of burnout.
