[EN] The purpose of the study was to verify the association between body dissatisfaction and psychosocioemotional variables by performing an unbalanced intergroup factorial design where adolescents of both sexes aged between 12-17 years participated, whose techniques used were non-probabilistic snowball sampling and the Latin square. The results were implemented through the Excel and SPSS software, where the independent variables were manipulated (Trait Anxiety Questionnaire (STAI), Depression Inventory (BDI), Social Media Addiction Questionnaire (ARS), Self-esteem Scale, Age, Cultural level and Sexual orientation) together with the dependent variable (BSQ). In conclusion, the majority of minors with younger ages (≤ 14 years) stand out, who have high levels of depression and anxiety accompanied by low self-esteem. In references to the rest of variables (addiction to social networks (ARS), cultural level and sexual orientation), no significant differences were found in the sample.
