[EN]In the present Master's Thesis, it is intended to give a new approach to the study of science by using a theme related to the origin of life, using this as the basis for the development of a Didactic Unit focused on 10th grade students of Compulsory Secondary Education who were studying Biology and Geology subject. Throughout human history, origin of life has been postulated as an unknown theme capable of attracting the attention of cultured people such as philosophers or scientist, as well as those with less academic experience. However, even when this is such an attractive and controversial topic for students in training, it seldom exploited and explored enough. This is way throughout this work it has been tried to develop a didactic methodology capable of capturing the attention of the student, motivating his involvement in the subject and encouraging the development of a global and realistic vision of the scientific work and its world. To this effect, plus taking advantage of the simplicity of the experiments associated with this topic, Project-Based Learning has been used as main working tool.
