Resumen
Este estudio analiza la relación entre el liderazgo auténtico y el vigor en el
trabajo en 120 estudiantes de la Universidad de Jaén. El objetivo es analizar la
contribución de las dimensiones del liderazgo auténtico en la explicación de la varianza
de las dimensiones del vigor en el trabajo por separado (fortaleza física, viveza
cognitiva y energía emocional). Se emplearon como instrumentos la Shirom-Melamed
Vigor Measure, el Cuestionario de Liderazgo Auténtico y un cuestionario diseñado ad
hoc para recoger datos sociodemográficos. Mayores niveles de perspectiva moral
internalizada se asociaban a altos niveles de viveza cognitiva (r = .34, p < .01) y niveles
elevados de conciencia de sí mismo se asociaban a altos niveles de energía emocional (r
= .38, p < .01). Así mismo se comprobó que la perspectiva moral internalizada consigue
explicar la aparición de viveza cognitiva, mientras que la consciencia de sí mismo
explica la aparición de energía emocional. Finalmente, se incluyen las limitaciones de
este estudio y se plantean posibles investigaciones para el futuro.
This study analyzes the relationship between the authentic leadership and the vigour at work in 120 students from Jaén’s University. The aim was to analyze the contribution of the dimensions of authentic leadership in the explanation of the variance of the dimensions of vigour at work separately. They were used as instruments the Shirom-Melamed Vigor Measure, the Authetic Leadership Questionnarie and a ad hoc questionnarie designed ad hoc to collect the socioacademic information. Higher levels of internalized moral perspective was associated to high level of cognitive liveliness (r = .34, p < .01) and high levels of self-awareness was associated to high leves of emotional energy (r = .38, p < .01). Likewise, they was checked that the internalized moral perspective gets explain the appearance of cognitive liveliness, while the self-awareness explains the appearance of emotional energy. Finally, it include the limitations of this study and propose posible limitations for the future.
