[ES]El desarrollo del lenguaje y la comunicación son claves tanto en el desarrollo personal como social de los
niños y niñas. Sin embargo, las personas con síndrome de Down presentan mayores dificultades en la
adquisición del lenguaje y el habla por lo que es fundamental llevar a cabo una correcta estimulación para
favorecer el desarrollo íntegro de la persona. La implementación de recursos tecnológicos en educación
proporciona alternativas en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje. Su uso en educación especial evidencia
beneficios no solo a nivel educativo, sino también en el marco personal y social. El objetivo de esta
intervención es mejorar la producción y comprensión del lenguaje y del habla en alumnado con síndrome
de Down por lo que se propone un programa de intervención en el ámbito educativo para favorecer la
adquisición de diversas habilidades comunicativas personales.
[EN]Language development and communication is an important factor in the personal and social development of young boys and girls. However, those with Down Syndrome have relatively greater difficulties when it comes to the acquisition of spoken language and speech. In order to promote the full integral development of a person, it is essential to provide them with proper stimulation. As it stands, technological advancements in the education system offer a wide range of options and alternatives in the teaching-learning process. Its use in special education has exhibited benefits not only at the academic or educational level, but also in the personal and social framework. In essence, the objective of this intervention is to further improve the production, understanding, and comprehension of language and speech in students diagnosed with Down Syndrome, so an educational intervention program is proposed to promote the acquisition of various personal communication skills.
