Resumen
Desde este trabajo se pretende poner de manifiesto como la transexualidad, sigue sin estar normalizada en nuestra sociedad.
A lo largo del estudio se conceptualizarán diferentes términos afines a la transexualidad para conocer de qué se trata. Posteriormente, se aterrizará en el factor objeto de este estudio, es decir, la discriminación que sufren las personas transexuales.
Se ha realizado un breve repaso sobre los antecedentes históricos de dicho fenómeno así como su estado en la actualidad. También se tratará el estado de la cuestión haciendo referencias y desglosando la normativa existente hasta el momento, tanto en el plano estatal como autonómico, y referido tanto a transexuales en edad adulta como a menores de edad.
Por último se plantearán las reflexiones obtenidas y propuestas con objeto de erradicar y/o minimizar las consecuencias de fenómenos como la transfobia.
From this work we intend to show how transsexuality is still not normalized in our society. Throughout the study different terms related to transsexuality will be conceptualized to know what it is about. Subsequently, it will land on the factor that is the object of this study, that is, the discrimination suffered by transgender people. A brief review has been made on the historical background of this phenomenon as well as its current status. It will also address the state of the matter by making references and breaking down the existing regulations so far, both at the state and autonomous levels, and referring both to transsexuals in adulthood and to minors. Finally, the reflections obtained and proposed will be proposed in order to eradicate and / or minimize the consequences of phenomena such as transphobia.
