Resumen
Las altas capacidades intelectuales son un tema de interés hoy en día, pero pocas personas conocen la realidad de estas. Presentar altas capacidades intelectuales (ACI) no siempre va a ser positivo. Uno de los grandes problemas que presenta este alumnado, es a nivel emocional. El niño que presenta altas capacidades intelectuales posee una lista de necesidades emocionales que deben ser abordadas desde el ámbito educativo para su buen desarrollo socioemocional. Este alumnado puede tener problemas a la hora de relacionarse con sus iguales y viven las emociones de una manera más intensa a la de sus compañeros, haciendo que se sienta diferente al resto y, en ocasiones, raro. Es por esto, por lo que se ha diseñado la presente intervención educativa, para dar respuesta a sus problemas socioemocionales y ayudarlos, por tanto, a llevar una vida más satisfactoria en todos los ámbitos. Abstract (max. 150 words) The reality of gifted students is a topic of current interest, however, very few people really know about it. Having high intellectual capacities is not always positive. One of the biggest issues of this type of students can be found at an emotional level. A gifted student has a number of emotional needs that needs to be taken into consideration by the educational community, in the benefit of his socio-emotional development. This group of students may have issues when interacting with their peers because they experience their emotions in a more intense way than their colleagues, which makes them feel different and, in some occasions, as strangers. This is the reason why this current educative program has been designed, in order to address their socio-emotional problems and help them, at the same time, to have a more fulfilled life.
