El presente trabajo está destinado a identificar las competencias, percepciones y actitudes que los alumnos
del 4º curso del grado de Educación Infantil de la Universidad de Jaén han adquirido sobre la atención a la
diversidad y la inclusión educativa, así como su abordaje de forma conjunta, durante el transcurso de su
formación inicial. Para ello, se ha realizado una revisión bibliográfica centrada en el abordaje de la educación
inclusiva, así como en los elementos que forman parte del mismo. A continuación, se ha llevado a cabo una
investigación de carácter cuantitativa, cuyo instrumento de recogida de datos ha sido un cuestionario. Los
resultados obtenidos muestran la necesidad de otorgar mayor importancia a los procesos de atención a la
diversidad y a la inclusión educativa en el grado de Educación Infantil. Además, los participantes muestran
unas percepciones y actitudes positivas hacia inclusión de cara a su futura labor como docentes.
The present work is aimed at identifying the competences, perceptions, and attitudes that students of the 4th year of the Early Childhood Education degree at the University of Jaén have acquired about attention to diversity and educational inclusion, as well as their joint approach, during the course of their initial training. For this purpose, a bibliographic review has been carried out focused on the approach to inclusive education, as well as on the elements that are part of it. Then, quantitative research has been carried out, whose data collection instrument has been a questionnaire. The results obtained show the need to give greater importance to the processes of attention to diversity and educational inclusion in the degree of Early Childhood Education. In addition, the participants show positive perceptions and attitudes towards inclusion for their future work as teachers.
