Resumen
[ES] Dada la importancia del sector oleícola en Jaén, no solo desde el punto de vista económico sino también desde el punto de vista social, este trabajo se basa en el estudio de las diversas posibilidades que tiene el sector y que actualmente en la mayoría de los casos no se están aprovechando, ya que un alto porcentaje de almazaras solo se dedican a realizar las actividades tradicionales como son la molienda, el batido etc., para fabricar o comercializar aceite de oliva.
Este trabajo analiza aspectos como el oleoturismo, la cosmética con aceite de oliva y la biomasa del olivar como posibles direcciones de desarrollo para el sector oleícola.
Para ello, se realiza un estudio sobre nueve almazaras innovadoras de la provincia de Jaén, las cuáles realizan otras actividades alternativas a la elaboración de aceite de oliva.
[EN] Given the importance of the olive oil sector in Jaen, not only from the economic point of view but also from a social point of view. This work is based on the study of the diverse possibilities which this sector has and currently, in the majority of these cases are not being developed, due to a high percentage of oil mills only are dedicated to traditional activities such as grinding, churning etc., to manufacture or to commercialize the olive oil. This project analyzes aspects such as oleo-tourism, olive oil cosmetics and olive biomass as possible directions of development for the olive oil sector. For that reason, I am going to do a research about nine innovative oil mills in the province of Jaen. These oil mills carry out other alternatives activities to the production of olive oil.
