Resumen
El Párkinson es una enfermedad neurodegenerativa, considerada la segunda a nivel mundial, tras la enfermedad de Alzheimer. Su etiología es desconocida, aunque se relaciona con factores: ambientales y genéticos. Se les asocia síntomas motores y no motores. Es complicado realizar un diagnóstico temprano de la enfermedad, para poder entablar un tratamiento preventivo para ello. Para esta revisión bibliográfica, la población objeto de estudio es el colectivo de personas que padecen la enfermedad de Párkinson, y está dirigida a mejorar la calidad de vida de este colectivo desde el área de Trabajo Social, persiguiendo el objetivo general de analizar el estado actual de la Enfermedad de Párkinson y la participación del Trabajo Social durante el tratamiento. Como conclusión, se requiere de mucha investigación, y desde el Trabajo Social, es importante llevar a cabo proyectos para sensibilizar a la población, aumentar la calidad de vida y estimular la capacidad psicológica y funcional

They are associated with motor and non-motor symptoms. It is difficult to make an early diagnosis of the disease, to be able to start a preventive treatment for it. For this bibliographical review, the population under study is the group of people who suffer from Parkinson's disease, and it is aimed at improving the quality of life of this group from the Social Work area, pursuing the general objective of analyzing the current state of Parkinson's Disease and the participation of Social Work during treatment. In conclusion, a lot of research is required, and from Social Work, it is important to carry out projects to sensitize the population, increase the quality of life and stimulate psychological and functional capacity
